Which is why what recruiting services say about kids is one piece, albeit important, of the whole information pie. Half the raters never even see the kid play or at a camp. If one guy goes nuts or knicks a kid, the others give the analyzer too much cred. Snow ball effect. Plus it is hard to project what an 18 yr old may look, think, act and play like in the next 12-48 months. If Mullen quit coaching and started working for a recruiting service, my guess is his opinions would be followed more than someone maybe working for any of these services now. I don't know why that should change if Mullen is still coaching a team like the Florida Gators. Our staff sees a lot of good in this kid now and project him even better in the future, especially when he starts eating and training right for perhaps the first time in his life. Welcome to Gator nation young man!

Wowzer! Watson says he can play both 1 & 3. I see him at 1, but what a talent to be able to play both at his size. Give him a year in UF's strength and conditioning and he'll be an uncontrollable monster on the LOS. We have a big DT in his final year so this is a huge get. Any comparisons between the two?

Recruiting services are funny. This time last year he was a top 150.
player and then had a season where he had 10 sacks and 34 TFL's then DROPS 200 spots in the rankings lol.

Clemson recent pledge at DT, Payton Page, is the same size as Watson and ranked 80th in the country. His stats last year? Oh my bad, he didnt play last year due to injury so how is he still 80th in the country???

^^ see above. I saw the highlights for that Rivals camp a while ago and thought he had the best highlights of any DL. He threw OL around like ragdolls. My must get for this class. 6 months with Savage and he will be a beast

His film says top 150 player. When you see him in person you think ...”well, maybe 300”.

Good to get a commit from a Tampa kid, especially Armwood.

It's said all the time, but this time it's accurate. This kid is far better than his ranking says.

He's going to be in the rotation the minute he steps on campus. Exactly what this team needs in the middle with Grantham's system.
