4.27.2019. No Longer Committed.
Anyone know anything?
He committed...on purpose?
The Florida Gators landed their first commit for the 2021 class on Saturday during their game agains the Missouri Tigers in Stone Mountain (GA) Stephenson 2021 athlete Kamar Wilcoxson. The Peach State prospect informed Swamp247 of his verbal pledge.
"I saw coach [Dan] Mullen really wanted me to be a Gator," Wilcoxson said in a message to Swamp247. "I see they're play young DBs and have a good history of developing them."
The four-star projects as a defensive back at the next level and made his first visit to Florida of the fall on Saturday. He committed to Florida over early claimed offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, Texas A&M, and Western Kentucky.
Edited the Thread title, thanks for posting as I was gone all day Saturday.
From an article on the Insider board:
Now that Wilcoxson has committed to Florida, the 2021 athlete says he plans to help recruit for the Gators.
“I’m going to try my hardest to flip my brother Javier Morton [Alabama 2020 commit],” Wilcoxson said. “It’s more people but that’s who I want to play with me.”
Interesting that he's gonna try to flip his brother, a highly rated 2020 CB from Bama to the Gators.
Just reopened his recruitment by decommiting
Where did this come from? UTenn??? Really???
Yep, Tennessee. They may not be DBU, but they are Champions of Life.
Georgia Tech visits
Roses are red, violets are blue. Enjoy Tennessee which is NOT DBU.
Roses are red violets are blue if you go to Tennessee then you’ll be gator bait to!
Wouldn't be surprised if he and Rucker got back into the fold. Now with Langston, not so sure. Not saying that I don't expect him to pledge again, it's just that I haven't read enough to give an opinion.
He has supposedly tweeted a lot of positive UF stuff. I say either get on board and help recruit or don't? But that is just me.
Langston is enjoying the process, not saying that is good for UF but eventually I think he comes home. Sad part is he along with CDR should be recruiting their ass off for UF. IMO.
Yea I watch him on Twitter and have been watching him since he decommitted and he's still be really pro-UF. Even went at a UGA fan when one called UF "transfer U". He called UGA "Criminal U". Blake Alderman just put in a UF crystal ball for him to UF yesterday too
"Florida, Bama, Tennessee, A&M, and USCe. I have a #1 but I'd rather not name them right now".
That's what he said
whispers of a commit.
