Smith plays against bigger schools than Lee.
Whoever CDM wants, I want. That’s all I can say about that.
Exactly! Some of these kids are like - ready, fire, aim when it comes to their recruitment. Besides that, if they're being recruited by us most (not all) should have already gone to the camps of the schools that they like by the time their senior season comes around. I said most of them that are top players... the ones we like, but not all.
I know that if I were one of these gifted kids I would have already been to my top 5 or six schools by the time the summer before my senior season starts. Also, there are many different ways to keep the kids from taking trips to other schools once they've committed to your school. You just have to find out how to do it without sounding insecure about it.
Smith it is... Lol.
Hopefully whoever CDM wants also wants to be a Gator. It's not clear with either player. The Aggies obviously have EJ's attention. Once we get Bowman in the fold, we won't be nearly as concerned about which of these two we get.
Just read an article saying that UF, at this second, would still be in his top 3 if he had to commit today and that he opened up his commitment so that he could fully go through the recruiting process. Can't blame him for that. Rather him do that, than flip on us on signing day
This is very consistent with what Candy posted shortly following NSD - there were a number of deals made with recruits to shut down their activities and start actively recruiting other players for UF. Mullen has put us in a position to be able to do that.
Wing is not a troll - he can sometimes be considered a 'glass half-empty' kind of guy, but there's a big difference between that and being a troll
It would be great if it worked that way, but I also understand a kid wanting to guarantee himself a scholarship at a P5 conference school and committing early once you get a committable offer, even if it isn't to your top school. If your stock doesn't rise, and you wait too long, you take a risk of there not being a P5 committable offer for you at the time you're actually ready to commit.
I know that's unlikely to happen for a blue chip player but it does happen.
Makes things more straight forward for UF.
I don't know if we're going to get any of the two or three those of us on this board want but I think we'll get what we need at RB in this cycle.
My browser won't allow me to view twit posts. What does it say?
Lee seems to be enjoying his visit to Alabama.
Good for him
Cool. I wish my browser was as thoughtful.
I would be more concerned with EJ feeling the gump bag than Lee, but they cover all bases.
If they get a guy, we DON'T. Pulling our biggest legacy in years would be a stock-in-trade trick of the evil empire.
Better ask @Nicho , he has all the answers!
We may have less than a fifty-fifty chance with EJ but I don't think Bama is going to be our nemesis.
