Yes but he still doesn't match up to the players at Alabama.

Lakeland Kid, UF trying to lock it down. Team mate of Bowman, top target at RB for the 20 class. Marc Britt, top 100 WR for 20 de-commits from Canes after visiting UF. South Florida kid. This staff is really after it. Concentrating on Florida and Georgia kids mostly it seems.

The alligator ran an April fools joke when I was in school about this unbelievable commit we got Carrie D. Ball.

Hearing rumblings of a possible commitment from him soon when he visits over the weekend. Looks like more of a special teams guy to me returning kicks and punts.

I remember that all too well. Lol!

I believed that the Alligator stated that Florida got running back commitments from both Emmitt Smith and a later pledge from Kerr E. DeBalle who hailed from Canada. DeBalle's name sounded French and his measurables sounded promising: a 6'2 250lb running back with 4.2 speed. At long last, UF would land another game breaking running back in the mold of Bo Jackson or Sammie Smith.

Later that day, my friend/classmate and I realized that it was just an April Fools joke when we realized the date was April 1, 1987. The Alligator must have fooled a lot of football crazy fans that day. Remember, Florida had previously a player named John L. Williams so Kerr E. did not seem strange at all.

At the end of the day, Florida was stuck with only Emmitt Smith.
    Oh, well.:)

Are you implying that my 30 year old memory of an article I read in the alligator isn't flawless. I am insulted

I have heard he is a pretty fast kid. I don't know any measurables but I think Kadarius Toney type speed might be about right from what I hear.
