Florida landed a commitment from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School 2020 defensive end Kedrick Bingley-Jones on Tuesday, days after visiting the Gators for Friday Night Live. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Bingley-Jones picked Florida over offers from Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others. "I felt like it’s the best fit for me," Bingley-Jones told 247Sports' Anna Hickey on why Florida was his pick. "I’m the most comfortable there of any school I’ve visited. Right when I stepped foot on campus, they showed me nothing but love. They also have my preferred major (dentistry) that can lead me to becoming an orthodontist.” The 247Sports Composite, an industry generated average, currently ranks Bingley-Jones as the nation’s No. 259 overall prospect and the No. 14 strong-side defensive end in the 2020 recruiting class.
