Well, going by that logic, we'd have a five star transfer every year, too... What does that do to the numbers?

I assume then we would have added another 6 5 star recruits . We would have the most formidable backfield hands down. Lol

Missing on Tae makes me wish we could have gotten Kelvin Joseph in when he hit the portal during the season.

Unfortunately not familiar with him Mr Baker. I wanted Gibbs badly.

Kelvin Joseph from LSU wanted UF, but could not be granted admission due to grade concerns. Ended up at Kentucky, which has less rigorous academic standards. Agree he would have been a good one, but may have lost out on another signee then. Like our incoming DB class, but really wanted Williams for that STAR position.

He wants to be a Gator. Let's hope he can make the grades or test score.

So, Marc Britt, he didn't sign with anyone right? He seems to be a bigger priority now that Williams went to Miami. Watching Britt's film makes me hope he can get the grades and sign with us. Has great hands and DBs who can catch will change a lot of games.

Britt is saying he will sign somewhere on Feb 20, according to David Wunderlich.

Still says he is solid to UF. Guess we will see in a couple of weeks

If Ole Miss was willing to let him sign, he might not be far off academically for UF. There's not that huge a margin between the NCAA's qualification standards and UF's admission standards for athletes in revenue sports. It's all in the sliding scale between minimum GPA and test score with an emphasis on the GPA. My guess is that the counselors at his high school are in weekly contact with UF's admission dept. It probably helps that he attends a private school.

I was initially concerned when Britt went from being a WR prospect to a DB prospect. Thought he might not be really exceptional at either position. Looking at his clips, he looks like a guy who could be a year away from contributing at either position and could become a star. (Fred Weary?)

will be interesting to see how that transitions over to College ball. He looks like he is a bit bigger than most his competition but runs effortlessly and has great hands.

His loss, but Ole Miss has much lower academic standards for all students.
