just decommitted I guess
The new normal, I guess. One reason why fans should not get too high or too low this far out from signing day. Many will find fault with either the kid (who seems to be a real talent) or the coaches.
I just ride with it.
Word is he's going to TOG. If he actually thinks playing on O under that clown is worth it, then I can't see this as a loss. Unless he's tricked us all and is an All-American DB in the making?
We now call this dis-intentioned, the new norm. Commitments only happen when the paperwork is received.
Then there's that. HA
Looks like the USCe insiders were right but I heard we were losing a commit earlier this week so this didn't catch me off guard.
I hope we still go after him though, he's going to be a good one
Wait a minute, wait a minute. An offensive stud is choosing Muschamp over Mullen? Ooooooohkaaaaayyyyy
All the talent in the world can't over come bad decisions and he's making a terrible one
Florida loses commitment from 4-star 2020 ATH out of Georgia
Four-star offensive lineman decommits from South Carolina’s 2020 class
An LSU fan writes "I find it hysterical when they say, respect my decision. What decision? The decision to back off of your previous decision?"
Oh well, next.
Respect my immaturity, respect my indecision, respect my need for attention, respect my inability to keep my word or commitment to something, ...
If kids take visits, programs have every right to keep recruiting that position and find someone that will be committed to the program. If you take visits, you have really made a reservation rather than a pledge
Kid seems to outperform his 3* rating.
If he eventually comes back into the fold, great.
If we end up using his scholarship on a Blue chip lineman, even better.
If that's true CDM has to correct it. That's life.
He's going to make an incredible LB.
I won't say all that about a kid. These kids are pressured to make decisions by coaches and while I hate that he decommitted, I won't bash him or any kid as being a diva or anything like that. These kids are making a life altering choice.
I just need kickoff to get here quick fast and in a hurry. You wouldn’t believe how insufferable some of the sports talk radio is here in atlanta.
And we aren’t always privy to why decisions are made.
To be sure the burden of fault lies with coaches and parents but the "respect my decision" line in particular carries a special distaste for me. It is such a parroted unoriginal narcissistic line. Just a pet peeve of mine.
I hear you but since i'm a big Twitter addict, the stuff these kids and adults tweet to these players when they commit or decommit is downright disrepectful at times which is why I get the "respect my decision" line. The stuff "fans" were saying to Terrence Lewis when he decommited was kinda embarrassing as a Gator fan.
Fans who trash talk recruits on social media are trash. Those people need to get a life
