We'll see that going forward. The pool of high quality kids the make up the bulk of very good classes will expand, making it a bit more imperative to pull the trigger before another guy does. Then coaches will spend the later stages of the cycle waiting on those kids at the very top to finish off a class.

I can't say what Dexter will be but even that type of height and if good mobility seem to say he can play wherever staff wants. I wonder what weight they want him to be, 300ish or whatever his big frame can hold?

Three comments. Great first step. Good nasty steak. Finally, some of the guys trying to block him should be named Öle and need to buy the qb some ice.

Can anyone expand on the extent of his shoulder injuries? I think he had another surgery in November. Are we worried about him?

I sure am. I read that's why Michigan cooled on him because he's had two shoulder surgeries. Only good thing is that he isn't going to be counted on to play next year with the depth that we have so he can rest and rehab.

When I read the thread title, I thought he decommitted lol

I just know he has had 2 shoulder surgeries now. Not sure the extent of the shoulder injury but many are worried he will end up being a waste due to the surgeries and that it could be a lingering issue. Who really knows though? When I grew up with Nick Washington who played safety for UF and was pretty good, junior high thru high school he must have had a good 3 surgeries on the same shoulder.

Anzalone had a couple of shoulder surgeries at UF but turned out to be pretty good (when he wasn’t hurt). Guess we’ll see how this plays out.

Well, IIRC, he used 4 years to play 1.5 for us. That is not the kind of yield we would want from a 5 star type player. Hopefully Powell will be a different story.

and he STILL has been injury prone in his 3 years in the NFL. 2 of his 3 NFL seasons have ended on the IR because of that shoulder

Shoulder and feet injuries are always the ones I cringe about.

Have any of you seen his tape though? If he can manage to stay healthy he will be a baller.
