I know auburn beat us once with Bo because I was there in Auburn the game where Neal Anderson fumbled right as he crossed the goal line and then Bo took it 80's yards the other way a couple of plays later. Maybe 1983? We crushed them the next year and Bo took himself out of the game here at the Swamp. I don't think Peyton beat us at all. So once that I know of without looking it up and Auburn may have beat us another time with Bo that I don't remember.

Bo was at Auburn from 1982 through 1985 and his only victory over us was in 1983.

And pulled himself out of the game next year in Gainesville in an AU loss after he'd gotten about a quarter and a half of punishment from the Gator D.

Can you share a list or do some names need to be on the down low for now? I hope some of fsu's unsigned sneak over.

Didn't Fernando Jackson have about 20 tackles that game?

I know Wilibur was eating Bo's lunch in that game. He hammered Bo every time he hit him. I still say to this day it was Marshall's punishment in particular that made Bo bench himself.

In 1984, Bo Jackson's Jr yr at Auburn, he only had 87 carries in the season due to injuries. So saying he quit is ridiculous, imho. 87 over 11 games is only 8 per game, so he missed a lot of games. In 1985, his Sr year we played at Aub and won 14-10 in one of the hardest hitting defensive battles of all time. Kerwin to John L to near goal, to Ray Mac for the TD, to # 1 ranking that week. It was Alonzo Johnson in 1985 who was hammering Bo, not Wilbur who was in NFL

Not enough info to say he quit or didn't quit in '84. True, he had only 87 carries, but that doesn't mean he was injured when we played.
