At nearly $30,000/yr. for that school, making it even worse.

I would feel a lot of guilt if I didn't take a lot of advice from my uncle who did that for me.

There may be a few who don't even know it yet themselves.

I let one of my daughters go to halfassu cuz she was a music education major and they're much better than UF in that dept. Not sure there's any reason to choose ugaly over UF though. :D

My UGA buddies say that they thought they had a great shot at Elam until Tucker left. Now they think he'll go to UF.

I substitute taught there once, and I thought, "This is a whole different world than the one I grew up in."

I agree, however, if the discrepancy between the two programs is huge I could see considering them or another rival but in the end there are plenty of other good programs out there to consider if we have a train wreck if a coach...

What kind of job did she get as a uf grad? Or are you speculating on the unknowable...

I think we have a good chance but I still proceed with caution to avoid disappointment. 247 CB can be misleading. They see a kid tweet something or schedule a visit and all the sudden they throw a CB in based off that. I mean sure those things are usually good. But I have been let down many times before so I try not to get too excited about those. With that said I do hope he picks the good guys

Not much info directly related to Elam. Just a lot of conjecture

UGA is a much better school than fsu. Off the top of my head, fine arts, music and theater are all better at UGA than UF. Arts management is a strong grad and undergrad program. Most everything else is comparable. UF isn't so much great at anything as pretty good at a lot of things. You can count on one hand the number of programs at UF that are ranked in the top 20. UGA's national ranking isn't too far behind UF.

I agree... FSU has a fantastic school of music.
I hear they have some of the greatest courses on Calliopee Music and Clown Horns in the entire nation.

Music education and music in general there is top notch. My daughter was accepted to UF's BFA program (have to audition) but not halfassu's. Still went to halfassu and majored in music education as it was much better than at UF. She's been kicking butt as the choral director at one of the largest high schools in Florida for the last 6 years. Youngest ever to have her program invited to perform at the Southern Conference and they impressed. Will eventually go for her PhD. Thinking about NW currently.
