This should be eliciting a larger and more positive response, shouldn't it? Isn't this now our highest-rated commitment? I'm excited about it.

Big get, fills a huge need with 0 DTs signed last year.

I wonder if Carter will move inside? @270 and fairly lean looking, seems like he could easily add 30# and play in the middle. When Humphries is a FR, we'll have a bunch of upperclassmen DTs (Slaton, Campbell, and Conliffe will all be JRs and Dunlap a SR).

Need more DL in this class, both inside and outside.

No doubt, but you know how it is. Big uglies don't usually the fanfare of the flashy WR, QB, RB or even DB.

Regardless, huge get at a major position of need.

Carter will never be big enough to play inside in a 3-4.

Awesome. We desperately need quality DT. Our most recent two commits are 4 star georgia athletes.

Hmm, his HUDL Jr Highlight video is 14 minutes long, and apparently, his high school, Mountain View, is in class 7A, the highest.

He doesn't look particularly fast, reasonably agile, but not super fast, but against the highest level of competition in Georgia, a 14 minute long clip when you're a mere junior is very impressive.

Speed for an interior D lineman is less important in a 3-4. He just needs have a good first step and explosiveness at the point of contact.
