    The 2019 Orange & Blue Game, presented by Sunniland Corp, will be a fun-filled Saturday in Gainesville with Swamp Alumni autograph opportunities, multiple food options, music, tailgating and football.

    Continuing with the Orange & Blue on April 13, Gator Nation is encouraged to use #SwampMoment to capture these fun moments and lasting memories throughout the day.

    Over the course of #WeChompWeekend (April 10-14), Florida's campus will feature nine different Gator sports events, highlighted by the Orange & Blue game 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.

    Gator Walk Village on the North Lawn outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will continue with many of the fun amenities that Gator Nation came to enjoy last fall:

    Gator Walk
    Just as it would be on a fall Saturday, Gator Nation is encouraged to surround the team on University Ave. and on the brick path leading into BHG Stadium as the team makes its way into The Swamp.

    Amenities (10 a.m.) include:
    Gators Garden
    Join this controlled environment with appropriate oversight that includes the sale of national brand and local beer options. This will be set up on the North Lawn adjacent to University Ave. and include corn hole, jingo and other tailgating activities.

    BUBBA Burger Fan Fest
    Beginning at 10 a.m. and running until kickoff at 1 p.m., Pepsi, Nissan, Chuy's, UF Health, Davis Chevrolet and additional sponsors will have interactive games and giveaways for fans inside the Gator Walk Village to the west of Gator Walk.

    Big Green Egg Cookoff Contest
    Back for its second year, Big Green Egg will be hosting a cook-off for experienced grill masters. Fans will have the opportunity to taste each dish.

    Food Trucks on University Ave.
    Gator Nation can expect multiple food trucks on University Ave. prior to kickoff on Saturday. They'll start serving food at 11 a.m. and conclude sales at halftime.
    List of Food Trucks:
    * Soup To Nuts
    * Mayflower Cellars
    * Cilantro Tacos
    * Kona Ice
    * Monsta Lobsta
    * B'z Gelati
    * Rollin Smoke BBQ

    Concert Stage
    Fans can expect to hear music on the North Lawn from 11 a.m. until kickoff. In addition, Dan Mullen will speak to the crowd following Gator Walk.

    Gators SportShop
    There will be a tent open between Gates 3 & 4 just as there are for games in the fall. In addition, the Gators SportsShop located at Gate 9 will have a sidewalk sale inside the gate. Fans can expect as many as eight racks of clearance merchandise at these locations.

    University Ave. Road Closure
    Beginning at 10 a.m. on April 13, W. University Avenue will be CLOSED between Gale Lemerand Dr. and NW 17th Street. West University Avenue will remain closed until up to two hours after the conclusion of the game. Fans with parking passes to enter the O'Connell Center parking lot will be able to access those areas from the west on University Avenue.

    Clear Bag Policy
    In the interest of fan safety, the University of Florida Athletic Association will continue to implement a clear bag policy for the 2018 Orange & Blue Game.

    Approved Bags
    Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12"x6"x12"
    A logo no larger than 4.5"x 3.4" can be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag.
    * One-gallon clear, re-sealable plastic storage bag
    * Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5"x6.5", approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap
    * Medically necessary items (after proper inspection)

    Empty Water Bottle
    Fans are permitted to bring one (1) commercially branded (i.e. Aquafina) EMPTY plastic water bottle, no larger than 20 oz. There are several water bottle filling stations inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Non-disposable water bottles, sport bottles, Nalgene-type bottles, cans, heavy plastic, glass bottles, and thermoses are NOT permitted in the Stadium. There are 12 water bottle refill stations throughout Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

    For the first time in a while, UF doesn’t have a quarterback battle
    Alligator Sports Report by Jake Dreiling
    When was the last time the Florida football team had a clear-favorite quarterback that lasted an entire season?
    You know, someone who was the leader heading into the season, started every game without worry of getting pulled and finished the year without fans calling for his benching.
    It’s the middle of spring practice, and it’s Feleipe Franks’ spot to lose. It’s not even close. Franks will be the starter for UF’s season opener against Miami on Aug. 24.

    “I’ve been more comfortable in everything I’ve been doing whether it be watching film, up there just trying to learn from Coach Johnson, Coach Mullen,” he said, “or even just out here on this field, being a leader, being more comfortable making throws and just knowing the offense.”

    Mullen wants players, fans to have fun at spring game
    Gvl Sun by Robbie Andreu
    Florida football coach Dan Mullen still isn’t sure what the format will be for Saturday’s spring game. But he is certain about at least two aspects of the game.
    It’s going to be a good, fun time for players and fans. And the game is going to last exactly two hours.
    “On the dot,” Mullen said Monday.

    The spring game weekend every year is a lot of fun. A lot of great things happening,” Mullen said. “I know for us, for all of our fans, the opportunity to come out, to come see some players, the last time to see these guys until we kick it off. But a great opportunity to come see some young players, guys you haven’t seen before.

    “For our fans, just kind of a fun day. We’ll have a lot of recruits on campus. A really exciting, fun time for us. It will be a great Saturday. Should be a lot of fun. A lot of fun activities, a lot of fun to be on campus.”

    Curveball expected for spring game
    By Edgar Thompson Orlando Sentinel

    Whatever the case, Mullen is sure to have a few twists and turns in store for Saturday, perhaps including at the turnstiles.
    “I don’t want to give away all my tricks,” he said. “You keep asking if I got tricks up my sleeve for the spring game. If I give ’em all away now, no one’s going to be excited to find them after.
    “You got to really search for them and see if you see little things.”
