Since I am independent and can't vote in either primary, I am voting in both primaries :)

I'm not a registered Democrat, but I wouldn't register and vote for Jeff Greene if you paid me.

So far, Gwen Graham is way out front in the Democrat Poll.

Not many votes so far. My guess is all the Dems are complaining about needing an ID to view the poll.

I wanted to get this posted sooner but was unable to do so. About a week ago or so now I was watching Spectrum Central Florida News 13 out of Orlando. They did a segment on latest Polls in both the GOP and Democrat Primaries.

In the Democratic Polls at that time showed a very tight race between Philip Levine of Miami Beach and Gwen Graham, I think from St. Petersburg. Jeff Greene was further down but at least at that time, probably won’t win. The other 4 are not even mentioned at all.

I went down to the Supervisor of Elections Office to turn in my Mail Ballot. I always do that. And I showed the young lady taking my Ballot the pen I had used and asked her to verify my signature on file with what I signed on the back of the envelope my Ballot was in. I always do that, don’t want any glitch to keep my Ballot from being counted. I take it all very seriously. I do.

Now while there I asked if there would be a Runoff Primary for top the 2 getting votes in the 1st Primary. Use to have Runoff Primaries in Florida for the top 2 but that is no longer the case. It’s Winner takes all now. So whomever wins a Party’s nomination will be up for the General Election on Nov. 6th.

Of course, the #1 Winner in the Primary will be very happy but the #2 not so much. And if it was really close between Top 2, no doubt I think the #2 will also be very unhappy that there were 4 on the bottom of the Ballot, even getting a small number of votes, will think those votes would go to them.

By the way, I want to give a shout out to Lori Edwards (D) the Supervisor of Elections in Polk County. I think she does a great job in a not so easy task.

As one of my wife's lady friends said, I'm voting for whoever has the best chance of winning in Nov. Anybody is better than the crook that is there now.

Not sure how long it will last, but it seems like the Bob Graham legacy is still worth a lot in Florida. I met him a couple of times in Miami lakes while he was a senator. Impressive guy, especially compared to the glad handing air heads I often run across.

Interesting. Bob Graham in Dade County. The Graham Dairy Farm was a very large Dairy Cattle Farm complex. Very large. When you look on a Map, like I do, just NW of Miami is Miami Lakes, which is just a section of what was the Graham Dairy Farm. Just East of Miami Lakes is another section of the Farm, the Don Shula Country Club. Then more was you see it spread north to the Miami Gardens Drive. Quite a big farm area when you look at. I remember in early, mid 50s you would drive along Miami Gardens Drive and couldn’t help but notice how big that Graham Dairy Farm was. Might have been the late 50s and the Grahams sold all their Farm land to various developers. They sure made a lot of money doing that. A lot.

I'm not a registered Democrat, but I'd hope Gwen Graham because I think she has the best chance of winning.

In CA., according to prevailing beliefs, it's as many times as one wants. We tested that theory and determined that it's true

Sidenote: I wonder how long it will take for the FBI to show up at my door.

Just saw a Levine ad and he’s politicizing the Parklsnd shootings. He’s calling for more of the same failed liberal policies that facilitated the shootings in Broward.

Levine seems to be similar to Desantis in that his ads are all about Trump.

Graham would probably be a good governor but she may be too mainstream to get past the primary.
