That was my reaction too.
We will see when the lights come on thurs, don't make too much of a couple days of. Practice drills.
Game doesn't always matter either. I seem to recall Driskel looking pretty good in one of these games and a bunch of Gator fans thinking he was going to keep the nat champs coming.
Think Driskel was only 2 of 8 in the game. But had a wow moment rolling right and threw a dime 60 yards on the dead run at sideline that receiver dropped.
Byron cowart looked like an NFL player playing in this game. That being said, VH3, Brandon Spikes and many others did too.
I vaguely remember him having a long run too but my memory is bad.
I posted an update the other day that said he had the 3rd best performance of qbs.
You're right. He did.
Looked like a man among boys.
How many were there? 6? Hopefully not 4. And who is DTR they were referring to on TOS? He was supposedly the best looking QB in the game according to them.
Thompson-Robinson is UCLA commit. He looked good.
Dorian Thompson Robinson- ucla commit. He's very good.
Gatewood looked good in tonight's game. He was bull being hit by flies.
Jack west- Stanford looked very nervous and had a tendency to run out of the pocket before it started to break down.
Emory- ran a lot of RPO and I saw one errant throw. Didn't watch the 2nd half yet.
Texas' dbs were flying around.
Marcus Washington is a stud. Someone's getting a good one.
Preston couldn't catch a cold tonight.
Meadows looked a lot heavier than I remembered. Theres alot of DL talent this year.
Just being objective here. Emory did not play very well.
That doesn't mean I think he is a bad qb. He clearly knows how to run the read option and was very patient about pulling or leaving the ball with the RB. He was inaccurate with his throwing and when he ran he wasn't super elusive.
He is more of a glider and long strider.
To be clear, I am stoked we have him. But he didn't have a great game.
I thought Dorian Thompson Robinson was the best qb on the field Thursday night.
Damn Dion wouldn't let a Gator QB shine. EJ had what, 3 attempts? The Dorian kid had like 20. What a no tackling ass.
promoting his guy #21
Too me just Too many QB's at the game. Not enough plays to get into a groove.
Regarding Fields... They interviewed him at the game and he mentioned something about waiting to watch major-league baseball draft because he may go higher in the draft than he originally thought. Would he potentially not go to Georgia and go play baseball instead? I think he said he wasn’t going to enroll early either, although he signed already, because he wanted to see the major-league baseball draft if I remember correctly (I may have misremembered). Also, why did he not playing the game last night? Just curious, anybody know?
Yep, should be 4 total. Each one gets 2 quarters.
My thoughts exactly. Hard to show your skills when you only get 3 passing attempts. Compared to 18 for the other kid. Infact I think all other QBs had at least 15+ attempts besides Emory...Deion feeling a slighted EJ went to UF and not FSU?? Sure appears that way.
Why the hell is dumbass Deion even coaching a game? Has he ever coached? I've only seen him spewing nonsense that befits a halfassu education on TV.
