And how many of them were just working to make a better life for their families?

Hooray. Let's celebrate spending millions of taxpayer money to hurt business owners, towns, and giant loss in productivity! Farmers in Pennsylvania, who voted for Trump 3:1, are struggling, and many are facing losing their farms and selling off everything because they cannot find the labor needed to pick their crops.

The construction industry is also struggling in a similar vein, as 92% of Construction companies are struggling to find applicants to fill jobs. And not having construction workers to do things like framing trickles down for less opportunities for American citizens, like electricians, who can't do their work until the framing is finished. It trickles down even more as less people employed in a town means less money flowing through local grocery stores, Wal-marts, gas stations, etc.

So three cheers for stagflation! And people wonder how Trump could bankrupt a casino?

So you don't care this has greatly harmed the US economy, the farmers may very well lose everything, and many other aspects of the economy, you don't care about any of them people, just as long as the hard working immigrants are gone.... Very compassionate about our country are we..

Way too absolutist, IMO. Sure, patrol the border, that's fine. I'm not an open boarders supporter. BUT--if someone does make it across, raises a family, lives a law-abiding life, pays their taxes--well, I think it's a waste of money to round them all up, as well as inhumane. I also think that, if they managed to escape war and poverty, came here with nothing, and still made a success of themselves, they should be valued for their persistence, resilience, and intelligence.

Who cares if Americans suffer, lose business, and we all need to pay more for things. As long as the immigrants suffer more?

Ok..I’ll stay on topic. 2 million univited invaders cross any other countries border and set up illegally in said country and that country would consider it an invasion. But the left did everything they could to make sure it happened in the IS. The left demonized the Border Patrol (the bad men on horse had whips and were whipping the intruders.. all a lie), claimed there was no issue at the border all was fine despite the over whelming evidence that border was being over run. Weird.. Biden leaves office and the human Congo line of illegals dwindles to nothing.
Yeah. So I’m not too upset that 2 million uninvited guest are being sent home.

We used to invite immigrant labor legally under the Bracero Program 1945 through 1963. Millions came legally. Between 1963 and 1986, we didn't have much in terms of border patrol. Reagan's war on drugs made the border an issue, but Reagan wasn't against immigration. His amnesty made millions more legal.

Maybe, just maybe, we should try and solve our labor shortage issues along with securing the border. This isn't a new problem that just sprung up in the last 5 years. In fact 18 years ago, and again 12 years ago with the Gang of 8, bipartisan groups got together to discuss immigration issues. Both suggested a solution that included an expanded guest worker program with an eventual pathway to citizenship.

Never happened. And now, we are left with American owned businesses struggling to stay afloat due to immigrant labor shortages! Towns that will struggle, and rising prices due to supply shortages that will effect us all. Is it worth enforcing the law when as a result, we all suffer?

Consider that the law NIT being enforced is what got us here in the first place. It’s time to enforce the law, send home the law breakers and move forward. If the pain is too much then and only then will our jackass politicians do something to fix the issue, but standing still with the status quo is NOT the answer.
Did we have dying town and grocery that were too expensive before Biden and the left let millions in? Did those millions of illegal immigrants force down labor costs? Did we see prices drop dramatically as we watched ten of thousands march across the border?

The undocumented population fell during the Bush II recession. The undocumented population continued to grow under Obama and Trump until COVID hit. During which, we had 11 years of unprecedented, continual growth.

Under Biden, we had the post COVID recovery. With the last years with unemployment under 4% and majority of join growth going to immigrants.

Yes, we had inflation. But that was mostly due to labor shortages and massive issues with supply chain interruptions. We don't have the chain issues, but why would we want to bring back the inflation from labor shortages again? And at a cost of jobs, for both immigrant and citizen?

Forget enforcing bad law that benefits nobody and causes all to suffer. Better to change it before more damage is done.
