That was tentative. They realized that would be beneficial for GATOR fans, so why not move it up an hour. Hope we get a 90 minute rain delay so the game can start at 7PM.

These days, basically all regionals and supers are going to include capable teams. There’s just too many good teams out there to get any other outcome. Even a #2 seeded team will have to get through some dudes, but I agree with you that this team can do it.

 

I agree that we probably should start Cags against FAMU. UConn and Texas Tech are much better opponents. We should be able to start a midweek starter and win this one but if we get hot and win in three then Cags doesn't get to pitch at all and that is not good. This assumes no long rain delays for the Gators this weekend and the odds of that are slim. Perhaps starting a midweek starter and keepings Cags ready to come in after a rain delay later in the weekend is a viable plan.

Exactly what I said last year. Nothing is given 6,000 Vs 3,000 is a big deal. Very very happy Sully changed his mindset. Rain will happen no matter what. Home crowd behind you and present important. FAMU no joke. Regional no joke. Tech can play.

 

You said it…FAMU will probably trot a dude out there that sits 85-86. Stay back and let it travel.

 

I wouldn’t look past UCONN either-
They are 43-15 with a team BA of .306

 

Yep, just getting ready to say that. Tough regional. FAMU could be scary if not careful.

 

They scored 7 on us in April.

But we scored 17 and run ruled them.

 

I have bad memories of UConn in the 2014 basketball season but a great memory of UConn in the 1994 basketball season.

 

They won 50 games last season, won a regional on the road and took Stanford to three games in the Super Regional. An older team that has been there before. Couple years ago took Ok State to the brink in a winner take all regional final. Very dangerous team.

Yes, sir. My man Lon Kruger!!!! Turned Florida Men's Basketball around. Got through the 90-91 season, the bad seeds finished their eligibility, and we got on the right track beginning in 91. Florida Football doing the same thing right now.
