I saw this article, 12+ things you can do with a locked iPhone, today and thought it might be of a little interest here. Like most articles, these days, it hypes the headlines only to let you know it isn’t quite as bad as it would seem – in most of the cases.

To spoil the suspense here are the things it describes:

    1. Wake it up

    2. Make a call, send a message, and more

    3. You can use Siri

    4. Open Control Center

    5. Use the flashlight

    6. Music controls

    7. Check Notifications

    8. Today widgets

    9. Take a picture

    10. Look in the Wallet

    11. Return a Missed Call

    12. Make an Emergency call

    13. Check Medical data

    14. ‘Whose iPhone is this?’

Awesome! Now I have an reason to snatch one from a tourist downtown. Those idiots are always standing on the sidewalk taking photos of landmarks begging for someone to grab it and run. That's why smart phone thieves hang out near museums and department stores.
