That ASU team looks pretty legit. Going to be a tough one, maybe the toughest so far. Will be interesting to see if the boys can win a close one if need be. Hopefully thye will get some good practice in over these next 8 days and tighten up on shot selection and 3 point defense.
They're #27 NET and #52 Kenpom as of right now (#60 in O / #49 in D). They played (kenpom #4) Gonzaga @ Gonzaga tough. Falling 88-80. Their only loss. Lots of single digit wins against weak teams. They did recently seem to find a grove, blowing out San Diego 90 - 53.
ASU will be the team with a projected first round pick in Sanon so it’ll be a tough game. I feel like if you beat Arizona State you can really go into the UNC game playing with house money.
It's great that our team was tested against VA early. They came out swinging and it took a little while for the Gator boys to get going. Gotta be battle-tested before conference season. KY, Aub, Bama, etc. have played some very good teams.
Don't forget NBN gang, this team is coached by Bobby Hurley. Not a particular tall team, but they have put together a good team. They will be ready and Coach Hurley will be vocal working the refs.
For some reason, I’m reminded of the time years ago that a poster referred to the picture of you in your avatar, and you had to explain that it was a picture of a Southern Comfort commercial. I remember thinking, oh crap, I thought that was a picture of exiled too! Lol. And at this point, that picture is so linked to you in my mind that even though I know it’s a commercial, if I ever see that actor in real life, I’m definitely going to run up to him and yell, “exiled! It’s me dude, GatorRade!”
