In the old days it would be Clayton and Richard/martin at guard, Haugh at the 3, condo at the 4 and chins at center. Now, with the emphasis on...
Clayton is definitely a good player…just not sure about him as a point guard.
Ouch!
So many of the tournament games come down to point guard play in crunch time and free throw shooting…two areas where we have questions.
I wonder if we’ve been reading too many press clippings
It’s weird Richard had been so quiet when we were playing well and then tonight he goes off. It’s just too bad he didn’t have more help this time.
Martin is not a great free throw shooter (73%). That is going to be an issue going forward. Shooting so poorly from the line really cost us tonight.
Poor, poor defensive effort.
I don’t buy trap game…just a poor effort.
Even his free throw shooting looked solid. He will be a huge asset in the tournament if he can make 70% of his foul shots.
Gators 76 Dogs 58 MVG chinyelu Chinyelu keeps rolling!
The intermittent point guard struggles are my main concern come tournament time. Sometimes we get into a habit of standing and shooting jumpers...
Chinyelu was tough from the free throw line…that’s sure good to see.
He did manage a few key steals to be fair. The rise of Haugh puts us in the realm of the elite but, I agree, we need Richard to score come...
I want to see fast development from our young receivers. I think this is a big key. DJ needs to find a new set of go-to receivers quickly.
I don’t think 8 is enough. Napier needs to have an outstanding season. His record thus far has put him behind the eight ball.
Should give Chinyelu a big advantage down low…not to mention Haugh and hanlogten.
Condon was sure jumping around during the Oklahoma game. If that’s any indication, he should be good to go.
