i think TG needs to become his own Larry Shyatt. TG brought Hovde on to handle offense, but has always described himself as defense-oriented.
L Gaffney and Boyd are really solid, but unspectacular point guards. I presume Nelly will go pro. The only other option would be Alijah Martin....

i don’t know what to tell ya… he, objectively, isn’t a good defender. And it’s kinda been a known achilles heel even during his time at Iona....
