Can’t be good for his confidence to be beat by Daniel Jones. If he doesn’t start any of the first 8 games they may as well cut him.
The best thing he has going for him is a high first round draft contract. I am sure he will be crying all the way to the bank.
Whether you care about the NFL or not you should care about Florida's ability to recruit, develop and produce NFL quality QB's. And history shows it's pretty pathetic up to now.
While I would like to see AR be a stud NFL QB on everyone's "gotta have" social media contact list, I am happy the young man has received life changing money already, should he choose to handle it carefully. AR has shown he is a high character person, he displays empathy for fans, youth and those not so fortunate. I wish him nothing but the best, NFL stud, or regular working class human being.
Honestly i was shocked he was 4th chosen with his inconsistency and penchant for injuries. It's no wonder Indy is a crappy team in the way they evaluate players. Maybe transition to a wr or te, but even then he's so fragile. But good for him he got his millions
C'mon, it is SO simple in what is needed. I can't fathom why these so-called learned folks can't get it right. Plainly, what you need is to draft either a Tom Brady or a Patrick Mahomes. And then you draft a Kelce and a Gronk to be their safety net. So teams, when you get to the draft, just let everyone know that is who you are going to draft in the first and second rounds - that is unless they are already on your team and then you can get the other pieces - and then problem solved. Why is this so hard to comprehend???
AR is a combine warrior made of paper. His biggest contract will be his rookie contract. Bust all the way.
I'm not ready to write AR off yet- hope he comes back from this. But seriously- the Colts org is such a joke. All the signs about AR's issues were right in front of them, on film. How Kentucky just destroyed him, and how Vandy neutralized him. If I knew it as a casual football fan, then surely the Colts should have known this. What rank incompetence... Frankly he needed another year in college- and just the fact that he never considered it was yet another red flag.
