It's hard to pass up the season opener for the reigning national champs. There will be some growing pains for the Gators, who are bringing in a new backcourt in transfers Boogie Fland and Xaivian Lee. But the Wildcats should pose a good test, as they are going to be even more of a work-in-progress: likely starting two freshmen in five-star recruits Brayden Burries and Koa Peat.

    Projected starting lineup

Boogie Fland (13.5 PPG at Arkansas)
Xaivian Lee (16.9 PPG at Princeton Tigers)
    Thomas Haugh (9.8 PPG)
    Alex Condon (10.6 PPG)
    Rueben Chinyelu (6.1 PPG)

Can Haugh play small forward? I bet he plays quite a bit of the four and Ingram gets some time at the three.

I am curious about the rotation. Having a big starting lineup, the only big to come off the bench will be Handlogten, unless Mikic or Rioux are ready. Then you get down to Ingram at 6’6” or Kovatchev at 6’5”.

    We have guards for days.

Golden said Haugh will still get most of his minutes at the 4. Will be surprised if he plays more than 10-15 at the 3.

    Or A.J. Brown. He's a better shooter.

Isiah Brown looks bigger than 6'4" to me. I think he could get minutes at SF along with his brother.
