Yes, I watched via Max until the games returned to OTA TV then cancelled so just one month of service. I do not like paying for all of the "extra" channels & do not watch anything during the Summer, so I'm very interested in the ESPN-only deal.
There are dozens of different apps. The one that works for you is dependent on how you stream and who made your smart tv.
On my FireStick 4K, I had sideloaded a free app called CinemaHD which gave me free access to all movies (even ones that were still in cinemas). Unfortunately the app went dark about a year ago
About 5 years ago, I used downloader to add this same illegal streaming app plus purchased a VPN to keep my location unknown. After watching 5 or 6 movies, I deleted both. The reason was the VPN slowed my system down too much allowing buffering which is the worst sin in legal streaming. I also found out some of the movie links had been virus infected and there was no way of knowing which links. Just about all of the illegal apps like this have gone dark now. I don't think downloader is available either. The people who operated these apps were fined and put out of business, not sure if anyone went to jail.
I have Fibber for $49 get lots of non sports, need to watch Sec. Espn. Tnt. Cbs Nbc. Abc sports what package is best or should i just pay the piper for each?
All the streaming services predictably increased their prices as time went on. I never cut the cable cord cuz of sports and buffering. I have stuck with Spectrum and my latest bill is $200/month. $80 internet. $100 for cable which includes ESPN 1 and 2, Disney +, HBO MAX, Paramount +. I recently upgraded to Paramount + Premium for an extra $5/month just to watch Dexter Resurrectiom. Prime is a gimme cuz we all are addicted to Amazon. Netflix is the only other streaming service we subscribe too. Every year when Spectrum sends the new increases, I go through the same routine. I call and threaten to leave and the new increase matches inflation vs 25% which they threatened this past week. My new bill for the next 12 months went up by $5...the addition of Paramount + Premium. Thank goodness the majority of gator sports is on ESPN 1 or 2 or the major networks!
No need for extra boxes for multiple TVs either. Spectrum has an agreement with Samsung and Roku. As long as you have either, the Spectrum app is available to work just like the old cable boxes. No need to rent a separate cable box.
I guess AMC+ and Peacock Premium is also included. I am just trying to give as much info as possible as the ala carte route seems to be getting ridiculous.
