Can moderators ban or block each other? Asking for a friend.....

 

Some of you hated when River came on board.
Some complained when I came on board too, ...but the data didn't back up your complaints.

Same with Nana back in the day.

The stats were very even on who they/we called out.

Coop will do the same. Just as Bluke will.

If you don't want to face an issue, just follow the rules and tone down the vitriolic nature that has existed.

Simple.

Hoping that this doesn't get me another ban. I have been posting to this board since George W. Bush's presidency and have been using essentially the same language in most of my posts. It wasn't until three or four months ago that I've been called out for some of my posts which resulted in a ban around July 15th. I can only attribute the recent difference in standards to the sensitivity of mods of a certain political persuasion given that it hasn't happened to me in over two previous decades of posting and as far as I can determine the rules themselves haven't changed.

 

There is definitely a move to change the tone, so yes previously accepted things may now be moderated more heavily.

As always I remind everyone that you don't see deleted posts, so only the mods can see how evenly the board is actually moderated.A LOT of right wing posts get caught in the net as well.

So patience is our request. We are all being asked to cool the tone.

Most of us sign our names to any action so you can know who to ask.

You're a fair and even tempered poster. You won't have any issues doing what you normally do.

Just be cognizant of the fact that a few things simply have to change to get TH back on the rails.
