Yet on other issues we are told “you really thought he would/will do that??.”
Got to love the selection bias.

I don’t know exactly what you’re referring to, but immigration was his lead campaign issue by far and it was your biggest loser by far. No politician in the mainstream had the nuts to propose what President Trump did, let alone implement it. What he is doing is securing our country for future generations to come. You should be thankful to him.

I know you like the cheap labor, but it’s not morally right.

You mean the labor brought by the open borders the upper class made sure existed so they can increase profit margins? The same folks that got great tax cuts by the Big Beautiful Bill? Now somehow you are convinced these people with nuclear families are "evil" and must be locked into swamp cages so you can be safe from them?

Why? If these jobs cannot be filled by citizens, or by legal immigration because our laws are inadequate, what's wrong with filling the jobs with people who desperately need said jobs?

Especially when people with jobs beget others who need jobs. And the loss of immigrants will actually costs jobs and GDP loss.

But did you factor in the GDP gained from the government contracts to private prison companies to create concentration camps and charge giant fees?

I think it’s funny that Democrats opened the borders wide open to try to stack the deck in their favor, but still got creamed in the election.

Tried to stack the deck with people who can't vote. Interesting theory

If I wanted to destroy America's status as the premier superpower, there is little I'd be doing differently than the current administration

It’s why I think the best compromise is to bring these needed source of low income workers in and place them in agricultural or manufacturing farms, where they are permitted short-term entry, are paid a wage (low under our standards), and they’re provided housing, food and medical during their contract. This will enable the US to remain competitive both agriculturally and industrially. It’s a win-win,but it’s also a solution that will be hated by unions and the like.

Instead of deporting people you could just make employers pay them prevailing wages, it wouldnt cost the government a dime, certainly not as much as building a mass deportation & gulag machine and giving ICE the budget of most national militaries.

Over 100,000 applications? Isn’t that more than the number of “illegals” actually deported so far? (And what a great start to catch the 39 MILLION Trump and others in this Board claimed are here)
