Since we are doing what if spins..... Given our recent road record, I seriously doubt roads wins over LSU, SC, Ark or even Ole Miss. . Toss in the the Ga loss ( who Ole Miss beat soundly) and that's 8-4 best case. JMO.

 

Maybe you are right, I have no clue since I'm not even sure who the "administration" is these days with all the openings, interim employees etc. I will say I know quite a few Gator fans and none will be satisfied at 7-5.

I said if we had their schedule we'd be 9-3. 4 OOC and 5 in the SEC. I never listed UGA or USC.

I guess you don't remember but we ACTUALLY BEAT Ole Miss and LSU and Miss State. So that's 3.
Arky was 7-6, OU was 6-7 makes 2 more very winnable games, so total of 5. 5+4 = 9.
You really think we lose to either when this team beat both Ole Miss or LSU?
We are not talking Texas here, or TAMU, or Miami.

As a reminder- this team who UT to OT on the road and was tied with playoff bound UGA with 5 minutes to go.
You think that team loses to 6-7 or 7-6 mid pack SEC teams? Just wow!!

Of course it would depend on when we played the teams, and if had our 3rd string QB start...
Of course its all theoretical...
But the point is that an easy schedule makes for a better record.

Why the "come on man". The head coaches at Fla. are selected by committee. Some very influential factions are involved and the AD can only make recommendations.

Of course having an easier schedule equals a better record,,,,usually. Ask Ole Miss fans about that KY game tho. . There are no guarantees in the sec.

Just fyi- Ole Miss played SC and Georgia last year ( beat them both soundly) so including them is quite relevant if you're flipping schedules. as is noting our road record vs quality teams. Beating LSU at home isn't the same as a night game in BR and you know it.

Sure, too bad we don't have that mizzou or Tennessee schedule for that matter, but we don't. Season needs to start ASAP to get back to reality.
