Speaking only for my self, in the 28 years the show has been on the air I've watched a total of around 15 minutes usually in segments of 5 minutes or less.
There's a war in my neighborhood over some dead trees ... can Trump help with that? There'd be no Nobel Prize but we could offer a gold spray-painted chotchke instead.
Yes, but having one of them be from a country that has been known for over a century as "one of the good countries" and "one of the more successful and sophisticated countries" is new.
Is that the same "power" generation (wind and solar) that failed a few winters ago and people died... because of that failure?
More winning: Bank of America predicts that the U.S. will not see a recession this year. Instead, they are predicting stagflation, which is potentially more serious. They also predict no rate cut. They believe that this likely outcome is due to Donald Trump's incompetence--specifically, his ignorant policies on immigration and tariffs. Japan's bout with stagflation lasted between ten and thirty years, and led to the suicide of many supporters of right-wing fascist candidates. In unrelated news, Team Donald Trump is having a sale on Trump-brand hari-kari swords--only $995.00 if you act now! Bank of America sees stagflation, not recession—and no rate cut this year. It's because of 2 specific Trump policies
Is that the same winter that a republican senator heroically left the U.S. for the milder climates of Mexico, and took his hot air with him? No one expects wind and solar to function as the main supplier of power during winter storms. Wind turbines have to be shut down if the winds get too high, and solar power is least useful during the winter months. Sorry, pal, that incident is the responsibility of the state of Texas, for not having contingency plans for keeping its fossil fuel power generators on-line, and for not being connected to the national grid. If it weren't for the limited power output of wind and solar during the storm, a lot more would have died. Consider yourself educated. You're welcome. 2021 Texas power crisis - Wikipedia
We know it doesn't serve the Maga narrative but please try to be factual. "State officials, including Republican governor Greg Abbott,[13] initially erroneously blamed[14] the outages on frozen wind turbines and solar panels. Data showed that failure to winterize traditional power sources, principally natural gas infrastructure but also to a lesser extent wind turbines, had caused the grid failure,[15][16] with a drop in power production from natural gas more than five times greater than that from wind turbines."
