Reading around he’s not getting cancelled. If the rumors are to be believed (and neither side has commented on it), the talk is that he will be offered a substantially lower contract based on his current ratings, which they assume he will decline. In other words, pretty standard business.
Having said that, he’s an ass, and everything that’s wrong with society. Whatever gets him off the air is fine with me.

 

Dude has been a media success for over 30 years and one of the biggest at his peak. Net worth over $500M. He dominated. 71 years old, I would say it's a little late to cancel Stern as he's rolling into older age. And I don't like him, as stated in #12 & #2 above.

The nexus is that Stern and Trump were buds for many years and Trump was a frequent guest on Howard Sterns show.

It seems Stern did not support Trump’s politics or is even now virulently anti-Trump, so of course this is why the “free speech absolutists” and anti-cancel culture people what to celebrate… {checks notes}… cancellation.
