    We are having chicken salad made with the leftovers from last night's pesto chicken.

    Tonight we are getting take-out from El Indio before going to see the new Superman movie.

    I agreed to go and I HATE super hero movies.

    Tonight, we are having cube steak, cabbage and rice and tomatoes. These things happen when you have a southern girl cooking.

    Tonight is thick center cut pork chops on the KJ with a dash of Nashville Hot chicken rub, Tuscan (also known as black or Lacinato) kale sauteed with shallots and capers and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

    Tex-Mex style turkey tacos for dinner.

    Meh.

    But making margaritas as the beverage!

    Tonight Ms. Jan is fixing her chicken pot pie. Fried cornbread will be on the side.

    Our week has been filled with doctor and dentist appointments—fun stuff.

    We both will have a glass of wine tonight.
