Just illustrative of the fact that Trump doesn't give a crap about appointing the best people to serve Americans - he just wants the best people to serve his criminal interests.

But we know all that already, so this is no surprise. The only surprise is that Nor is it a surprise that so many MAGAphiles don't care about him doing our country such disservice.

 

I hate Loomer with a passion.

I think Democrats would have a better leg to stand on here if Biden had not done the same think to Trump appointments to military academies back in 2021.

Except not sure who is analogous to Loomer, in any lane. This is a person you wouldn’t give your keys to to move your car over a spot.

 

They were not teaching positions. However, there are people that have a CV just as good as Jen’s that can teach this subject that were not political appointees. I’ve had a lot of service academy grads in this field end up working for me in the past and I don’t need them to do high level staffing work. I need them to be technically capable and that is not something Jen really is any more.

Just to give some context, when you transition from a GS to a political appointees, you have to pick a side. Once you have done that, you have sealed your fate. It is extremely rare to see a high profile political appointees serve in that capacity across different political administrations. Bob Gates is probably the last one I can recall. Jen knew that and decided to make the jump.

In terms of Jen’s technical knowledge, it is all completely dated at this point. Back in 2013, I was working at MARFORCYBER with one of best technical operators in the DoD. When Gen Alexander found out we were taking this person to Germany for a conference, he told a group of 0-4 to 0-6, that in anything happened on the flight it was our job to make sure this Chief Warrant officer survived, the rest of us he could replace. I spoke with that person the other day and he said he is technically dated at this point. There are a ton of folks at Ft. Meade that would be great in this position and would probably love to not have to fight traffic on the BW parkway to get into work.

Jen is not going to be hurting. I’m sure there are tons of boards that are going to be lining up to ask her to serve on them.

 

Instead of hating Laura loomer you should hate the people in the WH that listen to her. They are who give her words power

You are correct but Dan Driscoll cannot feel a political room, apparently. I could have told you her appointment was going to go over like a led balloon just based off her time at CISA.
