    “The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 242 points, or 0.6%. The S&P 500 also dropped 0.6%, while Nasdaq Compositeslid 0.7%.

    The indexes took a leg lower after the ISM Services index flatlined in July and indicated higher inflation and lower employment. Services makes up about 70% of the U.S. economy, so a slowdown in the sector could mean trouble ahead.”

    again, one data point, but the data points are starting to add up.
