My guess is they were supposed to be destroyed, but someone within the small group of FBI conspirators has been cooperating. Behind the scenes, they are working on convictions, not hearings, and this will come slowly up until the midterms. No more coming before a committee and pretending to be tough with words. They have everything.

Timing is everything! Like how these all these hidden smoking guns were missed in Trump's first term, missed during the many, extensive investigations, and are all coming out at the most convenient possible time to distract from Trump's role with Epstein.

You nervous? You sound nervous. Trump changed after TWO ASSASSINS were sent to take him out. I think he's dead serious about taking down as much of the filth in DC as he can. And I think he should...

Dude, sending the Clintons and high level Democratic leadership to jail or permanent exile would be doing a favor to Democrats. Oh no, Hillary Clinton cant come to the convention and credibly endorse a candidate! If Republicans were smart, they would keep the feckless bozos in charge of the show at the DNC not clear the way for younger, less corrupted politicians.

    Top of the ridge
    Sigh
This is going to be absolutely … nothing. There is so much corruption. DC that no one is ever going to let the cat out of the bag. Ever. In DC there are two parties. The party of the rich/powerful/ slime all politicians and the party of the rest of us blindly groping along and cheering when our make believe team wins something.. even when it means nothing.
This.. burn bags? Weight.. it’s nothing. And if it was something.. we will never know.

Not nervous. Merely pointing out what should be a common sense observation.

Rationally, if there actually were documents reflecting a hoax that was allegedly perpetrated eight years that were intended to be burned, said documents would have actually been burned. They wouldn't have been left lying around to be discovered years later. Although somewhat off-topic isn't the source the same Kash Patel who promised to release the Epstein documents?

This was 100% aimed at rubes who don’t even understand the basics of how things like document retention policies work.

Although it’s slightly interesting they actually had “burn bags”. I recall having a couple jobs where any copies or printouts containing confidential data (usually financial or trade secrets in my case) had to be run through a huge industrial sized shredder - which was physically locked down once the document was run through. I bet anyone working in finance, banking, hr, engineering must have had this type of “sensitive document” handling (basically any white collar job). The secured shred bin would sit there until a 3rd party company would come periodically to haul it away (perhaps to be incinerated?).

Most likely someone just forgot the routine “haul away to incinerate” part or that person left when the investigation ended, and govt being govt nobody did anything about it for awhile (because it was nobody’s job to). I severely doubt these are original bits of evidence (which would be archived somewhere), but let’s take at face value that it’s related to Russia investigation. How many reports did those guys write? How many copies of reports? Let’s say they have internal briefings with staffers and 25 copies of confidential report are generated to be read at the briefing? What do you think happens to all that paper containing sensitive material? They must’ve generated hundreds of thousands of sensitive pieces of paper just from reports. I would bet the mortgage it’s something boring like this, destruction of copies and duplicate documents, as opposed to the keys to a grand conspiracy sitting in clearly labeled “burn bags”.

I am not joking here, but FGM means female genital mutilation. Is that what you intended?
