I see now miami plays USF before us. Interesting.

 

There is No such thing as a "cupcake team" when their opponent is coached by Billy Napier. He led UF to a ho hum win in The Swamp, at night, 22-7 vs the Charlotte Crème Brule's. He managed to turn the home game, at night, vs that same usf team into the ability of a usf long snapper to get the ball to the holder for a FG. Same game, the inability of a starting Center to shotgun snap the ball to the QB. He is the same coach who might as well have emailed the Miami defensive coordinator our offensive game plan since they already knew the opening plays (per their DC coach, who got fired for having a bad defense in 2024).

Name one game against a quality opponent in which Billy Napier's handprints are on a major victory. Handprints, for example, are: 1996 UF at UT. 1996 NC vs fsu 52-20. UF vs Uga in 2005, 2008, 2009. UF vs Uga when Publix bag boy trick wins game. UF vs UT 1995 in rain.

 

Your points are fair, Ed Orgeron won a title with the right players though. No reason to be pessimistic until we have to be maybe DJ elevates everything. Save the anger for losses.

 

I wondered if folks were going to revert to BN hating as the season got closer...FORGETTING how the second half of last year ended. NOW..do we have the same coach from the last 3 years..yes..did the team last year turnaround AFTER the players let the coaches have it mid-season..yes..but to completely forget the wins that happened last year....seems a bit rich just to get your complaint in before the season starts so you have something to point to should it all go south.

 

Gene Chizik won a title with one right player. (A Gator castoff after the player cast a stolen laptop out of his dorm window. Auburn saw it as a great window of opportunity.)
