I'm going to respectfully disagree with you. This will go away soon (enough) also. We've seen that there are absolutely no checks on this government, no constraints that it act with any regard for ethics or even legality. The Republican Congress and the judiciary are totally complicit. The only constraint would be the voters demonstrating they're tired of the unethical behavior and criminality to the degree that they deliver both houses to the opposition in numbers that would facilitate accountability and possible impeachment. We will not see that. We will instead see 3+ more years of criminality. Anyone casting a vote for the Republican criminal enablers are complicit. Our Constitution never planned for such an abandonment of ethics and integrity. Our country has been, and will remain, totally screwed.

I thought this was obvious; MAGAs will be pro-Maxwell very, very soon. Trump made this clear when he publicly mentioned that he has the authority to pardon her. He's also had some of his online kookspiracy theorists start floating the idea that her sentence was too harsh. We'll definitely be hearing it soon; "Ghislaine Maxwell is free now. Deal with it- 3.5 more years!"
