UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says UK will recognize Palestinian State unless Netanyahu and his far-right band of warmongers agree to a cease-fire. This is the leadership the world needs right now. Keir Starmer Says U.K. Will Recognize Palestinian State Unless Israel Agrees To Ceasefire
Hamas could end this war tomorrow by handing over the hostages, yet they refuse. What Starmer is doing is cowardly especially when he is being brief by his Intel services that Hamas is responsible for any supposed famine in Gaza, not Bibi.
River - Almost all of that article relies on either the UN, which is in league with Hamas, or the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is an arm of Hamas. The NYTimes had to run a correction about the child they put on the front page of their newspaper yesterday that stated the child had pre-existing conditions that caused him to look like that. The UN works in Gaza through UNRWA, who's employees in Gaza are either Hamas members or Hamas sympathizers, as they allow Hamas to take all the UNRWA donated food aid and sell it in Gaza. UNRWA would not work with the IDF to deliver food aid to Gazans and then when the IDF allowed air drops of food, the UN employees complained it was risky and dangerous. If there are people starving in Gaza, it is due to Hamas, the UN, and UNRWA being in league to put pressure on Israel through any means necessary to end the war. It is not a coincidence that Hamas pulled out of negotiations with the US and Israel on a hostage deal shortly after the "There is a famine in Gaza" articles started coming out. Is what is going on in Gaza terrible? Absolutely, but lets make sure we know where the blame lies for it and it is not Israel.
Any starvation in Gaza begins and ends with Hamas. Starving their own people is the human shields of 2025. Hamas/Hezbollah got mauled in kinetic operations so they are trying to hang on the PsyOps. If your own civilians aren’t important enough for you to defend and feed, then they certainly not important enough for me to do it for you.
Why do you continue to post "fact checks" that are full of crap? I pointed this out to you about a year ago but you still use them constantly. USMC is correct in saying the UN is in bed with Hamas.
Great! What borders is he going to use? Just take a sharpie and outline Gaza? And what makes you think that Palestinians / Hamas would be happy with that? Too many variables in that to make his threat to recognize a Palestinian state viable.
A few points here: First of all, I don't know if the UN is not to be believed or not. But Politifact also quotes the World Health Organization. The New York Times, for example, has reporters in Gaza, I believe. It's done a good bit of reporting on the starvation. The fact that it had to issue a correction about one death hardly negates everything else. Aid organizations such as Amnesty International have sent out alarms about the starvation there. And finally this: The point of Politifact's piece was not about blame. Netanyahu said there was no starvation in Gaza. But there's a ton of evidence that he was wrong.
This piece sums it up perfectly. The Netanyahu govt is almost as vile as Hamas. And played Trump perfectly. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/29/...el-starvation.html?smid=nytcore-android-share
Most of the countries of the world already recognize Palestine, and Gaza isnt really a point of contention historically, its the West Bank (the place Israel is backing & arming settlers). Anyways, this has nothing to do with borders or even moving toward a state. Israel wont accept a two state solution, not viable with their government or any potential governing coalition going forward. More to do with isolating Israel diplomatically. This is a pretty small stick compared to the other things they could do.
There are multiple examples of UN employees with UNRWA working for Hamas, for example: 1. Fathi al‑Sharif—a senior Hamas commander and head of the UNRWA teachers’ union—held positions within UNRWA (Gaza school principal and union leader) for years. 2. Emily Damari, a British-Israeli hostage freed after over 15 months, reported being held in UNRWA-managed facilities in Gaza during her captivity by Hamas. She told UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer of these conditions. UNRWA has called for an independent probe into how its premises may have been misused by armed groups UNRWA is the UN main arm in Gaza, so I'm sorry but the UN is not to be believed when it comes to its reporting out of Gaza. As for the other Aid organizations, do you honestly think they are any different than UNRWA when working in Hamas controlled Gaza? Do you think Hamas does not require them do to the same things they require UNRWA to do? Finally, people are not starving in Gaza if Hamas is intentionally preventing Gazans from getting food aid. The correct phrase would be they are being tortured with hunger and malnourished by Hamas. You do not see that because then the UN, NYTimes, and the other aid organization would have to blame Hamas and then Hamas would cut off their access to Gaza.
You really think the NYT is intentionally mispresenting the story? And Amnesty International is lying ...?
There was a story in the NYT with a picture of a starving child who was nothing but skin and bones. After someone pointed out that pictures of the child's mother & brother shows them as normal and that the child in their article actually suffers from a genetic disorder the times printed an editors note and say they admittedly made an error. So millions upon millions of readers saw the photo of the poor starving child in Gazza, how many do you think read the editors note about the mistake?
Do I think the NYTimes is slanting their reporting to portray the situation in the most favorable light for Hamas? Yes. They want to be able to report from inside Gaza and that means you have to work with Hamas and report what they want you to report. If you do not believe me, here is a a former AP reporter saying that is what he was forced to do: The same thing goes for the aid organization that want to work in Gaza. They have to deal work with Hamas and that forces them to have to play by Hamas' rules. Hamas uses this to ensure that their messaging is what is perceived as the truth and Israel's messaging is lies.
Also, the NYTimes tweeted the correction about that story not on their main twitter account, which has millions of followers, but on another twitter account that only has 88k followers.
Israel wants to annex the West Bank and remove all of the non-jewish people off that land despite them living on that land for thousands of years. It's sad.
No, the majority of Israelis do not want that. A small minority of Israels do for some strange reasons. In the last 8 years, the Israeli government has a history of forcibly removing illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
