And why are people on Medicaid to begin with? Is it because they can afford other insurance and just like being on Medicaid? Or, is it because they are already low income with limited resources and can't afford healthcare costs without Medicaid's help?

Yeah you just can’t walk away from the bottom line that 1 trillion dollars of health care funding is going away over 10 years. That is just awful. Debates about whether those effected are “able bodied” or should be working to me are secondary, plus they aren’t easy black and white questions.

Plus I generally don’t believe you are truly saving money by cutting health care. It funnels back in higher health care costs elsewhere, one way or other.

It comes from the well-known Multiplier Effect. This happens in odd-numbered years with a rising moon over the applicable Zodiac sign, when a MAGA-fan triples the expected number, and then subtracts a little so it doesn't look like he intentionally just tripled the number. It's very sophisticated scheme for an economically-illiterate population base.

Never underestimate the total drag on an economy with a 7.5 percent Prime Lending Rate. Millions of middle-class jobs are connected in one way or another to the jobs in construction/building/housing. A large chunk of our economy is in a massive rescession.

Wasn’t it like a minute ago y’all were arguing for the Fair Tax?

Seems quite bizarre to go from that to just straight up picking and choosing income to exclude based on special interests. Although in truth that‘s what they’re always done for businesses via various above the line tax deductions. Only difference is now we’re playing these games with income.
