This is what happens when you piss on the rest of the world. Florida and California being hit the hardest. Not surprisingly Canadians have the largest decrease in people visiting.

"Last month, a study from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) that analyzed the economic impact of tourism in 184 countries revealed the U.S. was the only country forecast to see international visitor spending decline in 2025."

"From the anticipated $16.3 billion increase in revenue to a loss of between $8.3 billion (Tourism Economics estimate) and $12.5 billion (WTTC estimate), the U.S. is facing a shortfall of $25 billion to $29 billion this year."

Trump Policies Will Cost The U.S. Up To $29 Billion In Tourism

Yes, I think we can all be happy that instead of that money being directly injected into economies like Florida, it will be collected as a tax by the government and re-distributed to the top 1% thanks to the BBB.

TBF, fewer tourists in Florida would be on the list of things I would payer higher taxes for ... not sure about everyone else depending on revenue from out of towners

Tourism, as annoying as it is, is legitimately trickle down economics.

Yeah, I was mostly joking there. I know too many people dependent on tourist & entertainment money. But for me personally, kind of annoying sometimes with traffic and crowds.

DeSantis' recent barb about Canadian's coming here to see what Stanley Cup winning teams look like was pretty good though. :D

Do they realize that we do NOT need them to make our cars? Their war on Christianity might piss someone off... The mistakes that all of Western Europe has done with their push against freedom of speech and immigration (in the last 20 years) is being repeated by the Canadians right now. The Nihilists are out of control over there.

It was 100% dumb of trump to antagonize Canadians and it's backfired. Just a dumb decision and yet another reason I'm happy I never voted for that idiot.
