One would imagine if you checked out 50,000 Americans in prisons at least a handful of them are innocent. But I guess they are Americans so it doesn't matter. It only matters if they are immigrants.

How many of them weren't given due process and were put there because somebody decided that their tattoos meant that they were a criminal? How many of those were then tortured and physically and sexually abused by their jailors without access to any form of due process to protect them?

They obviously needed to create more criminals to feed the base. People don't realize that it takes a ton of time and a LOT of money to go through the process. Just getting an L or E visa can be wrought with red tape and tons of $$$.

Why DACA recipients? One was stopped and arrested for driving with an expired license. He was one of the first to alligator alley and was just taken out of there to another prison. Why can't he post bail? Where is the due process?

from everything I have read the due process for illegals is different- they get a hearing but it is not your typical court hearing- while I am a big proponent of the Constitution- this is one time where I do not care if the hearing is a 5 minute wham bam thank you mam- they either came here illegally or their visa has expired, which means they are here illegally - boom they are gone

You aren't a big proponent of the Constitution, clearly. Regardless, do you think the government should have to prove that somebody is "illegal" or just claim it and you are good?

how long should it take to prove someone is an illegal alien- I think 30 days is more than sufficient- then poof they are gone

Who do they prove it to, specifically? As a reminder, this is because we transported a bunch of legal immigrants to a foreign gulag for them to be sexually and physically abused.

So it doesn’t sound like you can just walk in and start earning a paycheck. Sounds like you have to check in. Are we seeing lots of check-ins ?

I work for a couple who immigrated from Europe. They got in line and jumped through all the hoops. I suppose that colors my views on the matter.
