That is exactly what Rahm did. He volunteered to be part of an organization that works along side the IDF filling non-combatant roles. Very different than trying to serve IN the IDF. Not sure it would make much difference to the Hamas-niks in the Democratic Party but to normies it is a significant difference.

But to be fair, working alongside them for several years is close to being in the IDF. Oh wait, it wasnt several years, it was just 2 weeks.

The fact that normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia and then possible some of the larger SE Asia Muslim countries shows that the respect for Israel and the IDF has gone up significantly after the operations since Oct 7th. No one in the region wants to be on Israel's bad side at this point.

Frankly, everyone just wants to move forward. SA has been working with Israel for a while behind the scenes. This would just make it official.

Pair the Gulf State money with Israeli tech and they can more than provide for their own security, which would allow us to move on completely.

It was an incredibly easy choice, given the corrupt, inept, incompetent piles of shit yall put up against him.

Hamas-niks? Being concerned about the Palestinian suffering does not make one a "Hamas-nik." This is utterly ridiculous; you deserve bacon for this (and latrine duty).

Anybody saying "From the River to the sea..." or "Globalize Intifada" is a Hamas-nik. Like the Democrats candidate for mayor in New York. You also deserve that term if you believe anything coming from the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is actually Hamas.

I wouldn't be so sure. However, I was in awe of that Mossad operation; that was definitely one for the history books. I am critical of Israel at times, but I fully supported that one.
Being critical of Israel =/= antisemitism.

this isn’t all or even primarily about man<>woman remarks. He has a history of pragmatic and effective center left politics and policy, plus a very strong resume.

So you think Rahm supports republicans and there vision for America? That’s a nice non answer.

I’m not surprised you aren’t a fan - as you are generally pro socialist leaning / pro identity politics, so of course, he’s not your guy. I am kind of surprised by the level of indifference to hate other Dems here have. But I haven’t really heard any specifics here.
