I don't see anyone else falling over themselves to join up with the CCP. If it's so great - and given their demographic crisis - you'd think there would be a flood of people moving there, moving businesses there, etc.

And yet. . . . nothing. If anything, they saw the writing on the wall and moved out.

I predict you won't see boots on the ground in any significant number (special force, etc. not included) in your or my lifetime and probably in a lot of others too. I think we're done with that for a long time.

Yep. Cynical as it may be, better them than us. More important. Over there not over here. Our military is built on that principal.

You’re so deep in it you’d have to be force-fed the reality that our hegemonic grasp on the world is rapidly slipping whether you like it or not.
