That's the daughters and especially the daughter in law. Melania actually has natural good looks, skin, etc. Lara Trump has peaked and will be chasing the dragon of plastic surgery for the rest of her life. Probably look like Michael Jackson in 10-20 years. . . and still not look as good as her mother in law. Ah Ha!!!! I love it!
I did. And so did a lot of people. You seem to forget that only a small majority supported that, but I guess it's politically advantageous to try and apply it to everyone who isn't MAGA. Even if it's not true. Also, where was the outrage at the time? Why weren't greater efforts put in to stop it from happening in the first place?
In this post, naming military bases after rebelling generals who fought against the nation, in order to perpetuate slavery, is the same as ...... ...... naming a music center after a former president. One day, hopefully we'll wake up from this Idiocracy.
Are these people really that amazed and in awe of Trump, or are they just seeking his favor? Just bizarre. https://www.washingtonpost.com/ente...nnedy-center-opera-house-appropriations-bill/
If the point here is that all of the renaming over the past 10 or so years has been stupid, then point taken. But when you take renaming to the opposite spectrum of absurd as this does, then not only do you fail to make your point but also you make another, even more absurd, round of re-re-renaming inevitable (not merely probable) after the next Blue Wave.
No one has bone structure that good. Women like her start botox in their late thirties. It's a known fact you have to get a lead on aging early, especially if you're a trophy wife.
True, once one side or the other introduces something into the playbook, expect the other side to start doing it and we get into a never-ending back and forth with stupidity. How bout we just go back to the 1990's of names and stop changing them and if a new facility get's built, name it whatever you want.
Let's put it this way, the naming of "things" should be boring. The fact we're actually talking about it here, in this way, shows that the entire thing went off the rails. Outside of big Aircraft Carriers, when have we actually even known about such things, or cared?
Just another day of Trump proposing something stupid in an attempt to distract us about Epstein. Deflection 101.
A bit of history here. It was originally called the National Cultural Center, and the name was changed to The John F. Kennedy Center after President Kennedy was assassinated. Yes it can be changed through a legislative process but not likely to happen since 60 votes would be required to overcome a Democrat filibuster. Having said that, changing the names of things, like the Kennedy Center and military bases, is not a good use of the legislature’s time. It doesn’t make food, gas, and housing more affordable, cool our over-heated planet, or make life easier to live as Americans.
This is a little different, don't you think? I'm not particularly big on changing the names of schools, bases, etc., unless there's really strong reasons. Tend to let things lie. But quotes from black soldiers about serving on bases named for slave owners were pretty strong stuff. That said, does Melania have any reputation for being a supporter of opera? Or the arts at all? The Trumps were the first presidential couple to skip the Kennedy Center Honors each of his four years. I don't know if it's valid to say that you either have to be for all name changes or against all name changes, if that's what you're saying.
