You think they'd take it that far? I assumed they came out with this now just to deflect away from Epstein. But maybe they'll try to push it in hearings or in the court. I can't imagine they'd get very far unless they really do have evidence of something more than what's already been reported. But they'd get plenty of Fox News headlines about bombshells and if it gets laughed out of court, his supporters will just agree that Trump is being treated unfairly yet again.
I think they will take it as far as possible to force those individuals to have to hire lawyers and spend a ton of money. It is probably using the old "The process is the punishment" to get back at them.

Almost two hours ago, the current president claimed the former president is guilty of treason and yet there's no post here about it. There's no major breaking news across the airwaves. I think Trump believes the theory I have seen on MAGA Twitter that Obama was really the one controlling the Biden Admin since a bunch of his former staffers were part of it. That would mean that Obama was the one who was driving the DoJ to target Trump and work with the other prosecutors to do that. Not say I believe it but if you buy the theory, that is where you would ended up. I saw some thing on Twitter today about Trump saying the last couple years, he was the hunted but now he is the hunter. I would assume that he is using whatever "this" is about the '16 election as an excuse to go after Obama.
