No, and not even with ACA. Went up every year. So, here's the question I want an answer to: Why can't we even discuss expanding Medicare? Given that we have so many hard numbers to work with, including the current payroll deduction (1.4%), cost and the demographic we can peg that cost to? I'm not saying it would work or that it wouldn't be expensive, but I'd certainly like to see the numbers and get an idea what that 1.4% would need to increase to. If it's over 10%, then I'd argue it would defeat itself.
Nah. I wouldn't report you Bro. I still have hope for you. If it was that "other guy". I'd have taken every measure to be the biggest ninny possible. Fair is fair.
Let's at least have a discussion that moves beyond Expanded Medicare = Venezuela. That's the biggest problem with healthcare. We can't even have an intelligent, fact-based discussion about it without it becoming a rhetorical turd-throwing contest.
We treat our elderly like they don't matter. There are old retired people living off of $15,000/year after they pay their medicare premiums. Taking better care of them does not make us a socialist country. Any type of government with corrupt leaders is bad. I think the dems wanted to expand it down to age 55.
This is just another pathetic attempt to distract. He tweeted during Obama's admin to stay out of the team's business. Now he's all in.
Criticizing is not the same thing as bullying. Compared to Trump's "do what I say or I'll cut off your funding," it's not even weak beer, it's tap water.
How about the Obama Admin “Dear Colleagues” letter to universities about how they handle Title IX complaints? That had the subtle threat of yanking funding from universities.
I didn't know anything about the "Dear Colleagues," letter, so I did some research. As far as I can tell, funding wasn't an issue. "The Education Department under former President Barack Obama issues a “Dear Colleague” letter outlining educational institutions’ obligation to protect students from sexual harassment and sexual violence under Title IX. The guidance states that even a single episode of sexual misconduct could constitute a hostile educational environment and potentially trigger colleges’ Title IX obligations." I don't know what those obligations are. My point is, Obama shouldn't even be in the same conversation with Trump, regarding bullying. Just a few of Trump's Greatest Hits: Change your team's name, or I'll torpedo your new stadium. Become our 51st state, or I'll tear up the trade agreement I made with you Improve your water system, or I'll withhold wildfire disaster money Lower interest rates, or I'll get rid of you
No one's dying, so dramatic. It's called civil discourse. The fact that you're trying to diminish legit opinions with uncivil observations is what's pathetic.
I can see Redskins being offensive, but I don't see Indians being offensive. Granted their logo was offensive, but change that, not the nickname.
Cleveland’s ownership and management are fine with the name and they’re building around it. Trump needs to keep his stinking, lying mouth shut.
You've commented, but neglected to address the most important aspect of this un-American disgraceful clown show. Specifically; How do you feel about the very President of the United States not merely lowering himself to comment on this issue, but literally threatening a privately owned team if they don't change their name to please him?
