Gary Pinkel was a very good coach…but number 4? Ahead of Urban? The easiest answer on that list is Saban at number 1. The second easiest answer should be Urban at number 2. Say what you want about the guy, he’s flawed as hell. But he’s one of the 2 best coaches since 2000 and I don’t think it’s particularly close. In my humble opinion.
This gets dumber the more I look at it. Best active coaches and Kirby is at 3? Behind Heupel? Is ESPN drunk?
