you do realize tht she has a fiduciary responsibility to her investors and employees to make sure they keep the company on sound ground- with what newsome seems to be planning for cally(and in some cases already instituted)she has little opportunity to do so if she keeps the company HQ in cally-

We have a few In-N-Out restaurants out here in Colorado. Their Double-double done "Animal Style" rivals 5 Guys and Shake Shack at only $4.

Sort of like raising prices when they experience tariffs, right?

Cool, I know exactly how business works, but yours is just the usual righty spin, i.e., all things California are bad.

Im sure some of her employees will be happy to uproot their families and move to Nashville. Not a bad place to live if you have to live in tennessee I guess, tho there is that almost 10% sales tax and another 15% on liquor based drinks that folks dont mention, but no biggie.
Of course, there will be some that prefer to stay in that communist hotbed that is california. and have to find new jobs. Such is life in corporate America.

In and Out is a privately held family owned company last I checked, so profits go to her and the family. Maybe she can contribute to that Vandy NIL with her state income tax savings.

Lived in the Turtle Rock neighborhood of Irvine, CA in the mid-90s and In/Out was the favorite burger place.

This sounds like just a weird right-wing talking point. I'd like to hear you elaborate on this, please. I bet you won't can't.

CA GDP is 4.1T. TN is 0.5T. Snyder owns roughly 97% of In and Out. This is entirely her saving on CA income tax, but guess what… In and Out has a heck of a lot of locations in CA and she is still going to pay CA income taxes. Who cares.

Some people think that a (for profit) business moving out of certain high taxed states is tantamount to some sort of crime.

I don’t see the big deal about this place. I liked that they toasted the buns but nothing special about anything else

Meanwhile, back to food; maybe being headquartered in Tennessee will a push into Florida quicker

Please explain what fiduciary responsibility a family-held company has to itself. As far as to employees, I'd be interested in Maga's take on her fiduciary responsibility to them other than paying them for their job. This sounds totally made up so please clarify.

These are the same people that get pissed off when a long haired rock star decides to cut their hair short. They feel "abandoned" as if they should have a say in your personal business. Hoe dare you move your business headquarters away from California... Like bill said, it's all about profits and their fiduciary responsibilities to their people.

I think In-N-Out is way overrated. Their fries suck. What colo now has that is NOT overrated are L&L Hawaiian BBQ. 2 in Den & 1 in Boulder.

I’ve had L&L in Denver and I have to agree with you. It was excellent. In-N-Out in California is head and shoulders above the ones I’ve had in Dallas and Denver.
