How many DTs do you think we need to add? 2 or 3?

 

Seems 3 are absolutely necessary and four if we can get em.

It's telling how valued DT are that this many top 15 type teams (PSU, USC, OU, Uga, and AU) are pursuing an approximately # 50 to 90 DT(depending on which recruiting service you follow). Of course the ranking isn't an exact science and development is just as important as raw talent, so he could end up being an incredible player.

 

Not that commits stick in this era, but On3's top 100 DL rank shows almost every top 100 DL committed somewhere. We are going to have to flip some guys but at least the staff has shown they can flip guys so there is hope. I would not be surprised if it turns out more NIL is magically available once we have a solid record through 8-10 games.

 

Of course if our Off can score early and often it will force teams to throw the ball instead of running to keep up.

 

We better have a solid record or nil checks may get lost in the mail.

 

Yep, this is the year for Napier. One way or another. 7-5 won’t get it done.

 

That may be true and we have to beat a couple teams in the top 13 just to go 7-5.

 

That's a tall order, but possible especially if several DTs can be flipped

What happened with DT Elijah Golden? Had several visits including an official one but we didn't make his top 4? Is this an NIL question?

Well, I don't think anyone else has a 450-pounder like Dez either. Definitely not the target weight. Get your point about the beef in the middle of the line though.
