If Trump and his administration didn't want to be considered liars, they could have done something other than lie all the time. (Is the Epstein list on Bondi's desk, or does it not exist? Are immigrants eating dogs? And on and on.) So the left disbelieving liars is quite natural. The right, on the other hand, has created a fictional alternate reality. (Were J6 rioters really ushered in? Is the bipartisan report from the Republican-led Senate intelligence committee on the Trump campaign's collusion with Russia really not credible?) This dismantling of truth is MAGA/Trump's doing and choice. So don't blame anyone else for it. Oh yeah; Stop the Steal, you lovers of truth and honesty.
Well, in the mean time, feel free to hope it’s true. The CCP is the #1 enemy of both the left and right in this country, and its main informational effort is to make both sides forget that and make enemies of each other instead. Taking down CCP espionage efforts is in the interest of all Americans.
It seems like we “catch” Chinese spy rings every few years, and I suspect the govt keeps tabs on many more that we don’t know about because they are monitoring them to see who their connections are. Isn’t that basically how counter-intel works? One thing I’m certain of is Bongino had nothing to do with it.
You know much about that Bongino guy? He's nothing more than a lying internet troll, who specializes in conspiracy trolling. So make him Deputy Director of the FBI, and he is just the same thing, but in a position he's not qualified for. As far as his spammy social media shilling: who cares. He's almost certainly just virtue signaling to the other kooks that are part of MAGA, after his Epstein fallout. So, sure - I hope clowns like this do a good job. I agree with this, especially the last part. It takes time to infiltrate these rings and collect evidence. Bongo needed a win and probably released this to cool down Epstein drama.
I honestly don’t care about Bongino one way or the other. What I care about is recognizing the CCP for what it is and putting a stop to all of its bullshit. As long as we’re actually doing that, I don’t care which side gets credit for it.

I think Bill’s comment is absolutely fair. No matter what this administration does, in any issue, there are those on the (far) left that find an excuse to hate it.
Sure, there's some of that. But the initial question because the thread was based on a Bongino tweet, and he's had his problems with accuracy before. Maybe if it had been based on the official DOJ announcement ... But, yeah, some people will question or doubt anything that comes out of this administration. Same thing during Biden. So, how could this 'not go well for the left?'
And we will still allow 350,000 students from China to come to the U.S. and study in our colleges and universities without blinking an eye. Right now the Chinese are busy buying up more American homes than any other country... which includes more than Canadians, Indians and the British. I'm sure they just want to assimilate and realize their American dream.
No. 1 enemy of MAGA is anything that isn't MAGA. They see their domestic enemies(woke, "libs", etc.) as the greatest threat of all. It literally informs every position they have. I would argue it even informs their opinions on Ukraine as they've come to see Putin as some champion of their Anti-Woke movement. The U.S. is a free country with a free market based economy (or at least it was). Even during the peak of the Cold War, I don’t think we had any type of ban on Russian students. Actually it was the U.S.S.R who had to constantly keep their own people behind walls to keep them from defecting! If we got an elite pHD to defect that would be considered a “win”.
