Yeah, but we're 6-6 against them since they joined the conference. NGL, that makes me pretty unhappy.

 

You hit on a great (sore) point. MIzzou was hapless before they joined the SEC pretty much. They actually became a better program when they joined, at least from my recollection of their previous Big 8 and Big 12 history (yeah, yeah, they had a few moments but were not exactly a power), Kudos to their administration and Athletic Department for pulling that off, I expected them to be a perennial SEC doormat when they got in.

Not so.

Especially galling how they have had the measure of the Gators since joining the conference.

 

We havent been very good, its no secret.

 

They were 48-19 the five years before joining the SEC, 37-27 five years after joining the SEC. Don't know that I'd call that "better". Their last two seasons were ok, but overall they've been about as mediocre as they've always been.

 

I think it's a step up to be a mediocre SEC team versus a mediocre whatever the hell that conference is over there.

 

Problem with Mizzou is brand largely. People forget Missouri exists as an actual place. Nobody knows which Kansas City is which, where is Kansas? Is Nebraska an actual place? Nobody knows.

Man oh man. I come here every day for the latest news and now…it has been revealed that we are a .500 team?
Come on now.
Usually, some negative dude ( probably a troll) would put something ridiculous out there, and almost every poster would use that to empty their bowels on these hallowed cyber pages.
So why haven’t I seen more of this WE SUK phenomenon before now?
Just kidding.
If we should win every game except one ( slight longshot) somebody would start a thread enumerating every play we should have called to win the game.
TRANSLATION…..somebody didn’t get a new bike for their 10th birthday, maybe even 11th, 12th, 13th…..college graduation..and they want the chance just to pi$$ in somebody’s Wheaties to make up for all the emotional trauma.
We call it expressing our opinions. Most call it a cry for help.

To the rest of us emotionally challenged fans, just root for your favorite team..each week.
We haven’t forgotten our won loss record since last season.

 

Im crying out for help. Please let us beat Georgia and Texas.

 

Florida has a bye b4 Uga and Texas. But they both have a bye week b4 us.

 

I only remember Missouri is an actual place when we play them or when I watch The outlaw Josey Wales. The other 350 days of the year, it doesn’t exist.
