Very few give the ootion of print at home for exactly that reason. Another tip is always add to your wallet. I went to the clown game a couple years ago and forgot to transfer from stubhub to my eallet. The internet was so bad at the stadium from the crowd, i had to walk three blocks away to get it to load. I didnt get in till the second quarter. AR almost got the job done.
Yes, we learned to add to the wallet very early on. Tap works much better than trying to scan, and like you said, if you don't have good service, accessing the barcode ticket can be a pain. Wallet can be accessed quickly and easily whether you have service or not.
I don't know about the scalping part. I understand that everything we do now requires the use of a cell phone. I had a hard time using the apps at first, but I got used to it after using it a couple if times. Off topic. The thing is MLB, NHL, NFL, or concerts have their own app that requires you to download. Each has their own unique process. I feel sorry for my FIL. I can’t transfer my tickets to him when I can't go to a game. He only knows how to call or receive à call from somebody. He doesn’t use it for anything else and refusés to learn the things he can do with his cell phone.
Mlb, nhl, and nfl all use the ticketmaster platform. You don’t have to download individual apps, but the individual apps may provide venue specific features. Your fil would be going by himself? You can’t just give your ticket to someone living in this century that can scan him in?
The captain i fish with cant use his phone either. He can make calls, text, or email. He just got rid of his flip phone a couple years ago. Builds some great cabinets though.
This really should be an ADA issue and the school should provide accommodations so that he can continue to attend the games he wants to.
Mine would say I’m disabled, but she’d probably give you more than one reason. Smart phones have been around for nearly two decades now. In 2010, this excuse may be somewhat legitimate. In 2025, I think you’re just being petty if you’re still refusing to embrace them. We’re past simply being stubborn, imo.
Parkinson’s. Tough disease. Apparently dealing with it since early 00s. Which was apparent to anyone that watched their show.
Went out the right way, one more concert for the Gipper...............to the cheers and adulation of the crowd!
