One question, why didn't Pam Bondi use that rationale rather than saying that there was nothing of substance to be released (paraphrasing what she, Trump and Kash Patel have stated)? If what Dershowitz is saying is accurate it would be much more credible than Blondi's (misspelling intended) excuse. Even assuming that Dershowitz's statement is accurate he seems to be referring to specific information within the files (maybe identification of the victims) rather than the files in their entirety. It would seem that the files could be released with redactions for the specific information suppressed by the judges.
Could Maxwell's lawyers use this for an appeal? You have the President, who acknowledges he's been briefed by the AG, saying that the Epstein evidence was fabricated by the government. Or would this fall into the category of "you can't actually rely on Trump's statements to be factual" even though he's the President?

Well. I thought somebody said the report was sitting on their desk, just a few months ago. That doesn't fit your narrative. Also, the current administration is stocked with literal conspiracy theorists, who literally ..... spread either conspiracies or outright lies about all this. Before they were chosen to lead the FBI, for example, LOL. Sorry, but the lies, kookery and potential cover-up don't really fit a both sides narrative.
Keeping in mind that there's no need for a "public corruption squad" in an Administration led by a president who doesn't consider corruption to be a real crime.

Yep long time republican Acosta gave Epstein a sweetheart deal and was promptly given a Washington job by trump during his first administration. Once details of that sweet deal came to light, the outrage caused Acosta to resign. Last I heard he was a law school dean back in SFla. Hard to believe trump is clean on this one and I would be shocked if anything is released exposing him during his term. Of course that doesn't mean there aren't high profiles Dems on the list also. The difference is Harris and Company didn't go around promoting all the conspiracy theories like Bongino and company.
Absolutely disgusgting for anyone to vote against these files being released. The more they stall the more I think Trump is in these documents and its probably not good. He should just be able to push this through no problem and have it published. Sick...
